Welcome to the spray series!
What is a fine mist spray?
Fine Mist spray adhesive is released from the container in the form of a fine mist, forming a light-colored and consistent droplet pattern on the sprayed surface.
Useful steps when using this spray glue.
step 1.
Ensure that the surface is clean, dry and free of dirt, dust, oil, loose paint, wax or grease, etc.
Step 2.
Keep the spray gun at a constant distance of 8 inches-15 inches (20 to 38 cm) from the surface, and let the adhesive drip on the surface with approximately 50% to 70% overlap to continuously pass through the thin laminate to reduce the telegraph Risk (Caution-uniform coating weight must be achieved).
Step 3.
Maintain a constant spraying speed during the spraying process, and spray a consistent and thorough coating without causing adhesive to accumulate or severely "wet" the surface. The maximum bond strength is achieved when the coverage is between 80% and 100%, and the recommended minimum coating weight is 20 dry g/m².
the fourth step.
By spraying the mating surfaces at 90° to each other, that is, one surface is vertical and the other surface is horizontal, the maximum adhesion will be obtained. It is recommended to double-coat the circumference of the face and edge, including the area around the subsequent cutting location.
Coverage
Below are three coverage images when using spray glue, how to use it properly and when to use it too heavy or light.
Important tips when using adhesives
• If the nozzle is clogged, unscrew the nozzle from the spray gun and clean it with a solvent (such as varnish thinner or acetone). Do not use pins on the nozzle.
• We recommend using transparent adhesives instead of colored adhesives when bonding any thin or absorbent surfaces, because the dye is designed to penetrate and color any object in contact with it, and may contaminate over time Substrate.
• Before spraying, always check the spray type of your adhesive.
• You must determine the type of spray that will be released from the can; failure to recognize this can lead to incorrect application and undesirable results. To confirm the spray pattern of the product, just check the label.
